How to use Doclime?
To use Doclime, sign up for a free account, upload your documents, and start asking questions. Doclime's AI technology will analyze your documents and provide you with instant answers and citations.
What kind of documents can I ask questions to?
You can only ask questions to text PDFs at the moment. (Image / printed PDFs do not work at the moment, we'll work on that)
Where are my documents stored? Are they securely stored?
Yes, your documents are securely hosted on Amazon Web Services S3 (secure encrypted cloud storage from Amazon) with tight rules.
Can I delete my documents anytime?
Yes. You have complete control over your data. You can access a page called "My Library" where you have the ability to delete your files whenever you want. Doing so will erase them from both our database and Amazon.
How accurate is the AI in providing answers?
Our AI is designed to provide answers based on the PDF you provided. We're constantly improving our software to ensure the highest level of accuracy. The more specific your questions, the more accurate the answers will be.
How long does it take to receive answers?
In most cases, you should receive answers within seconds of submitting your questions. Sometimes it can be slower due to large demand. Try it out for yourself for free and see if it fits your needs.
Can I ask questions to multiple documents at once?
Yes. You can ask questions to multiple documents at once. Time to get an answer could get impacted if there are too many documents at once in your conversation. If you encounter any issue, drop us a line.
Can I search for specific information within the documents?
Yes, you can search for specific information within your documents by asking questions about the information you're looking for. The AI will then search the documents for answers and provide you with relevant references/sources with the page numbers and (most of the time) a clear answer.
Is there a limit to the number of documents I can upload at once?
The limits are based on the account you have.
Is there a limit to the number of questions I can ask?
The limits depend on the plan you choose. You have 3 questions for free (no credit card needed). Our starter plan lets you ask 300 questions per month, growth plan 500 questions per month, and advanced plan 2000 questions per month. Your usage restarts at 0 every month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. In your settings, you can cancel, upgrade, and downgrade your plan anytime. You can also download your invoices.
Do you offer annual plans?
We do not offer annual plans. There are only monthly plan options. Pay for what you use on a monthly basis and cancel anytime.
Do you store credit card information?
No, we do not store credit card information. We partnered with Stripe in order to give you a secure and reliable payment experience.
